Set up

I am experimenting with blogging as a way of creating a forum for family communication in the Eilers family (descendants and relatives of George and Mary Eilers). We send e mails back and forth but it would be nice if we could just post pictures and news in a central place. I haven't figured out how to give everyone access, but I'm working on it. What do you think? Any better ideas? Anyone know HTML so we can make this unique?
